Malang is the second biggest city in East Java. Malang is about 90 km south of Surabaya, about 2-3 hours by road.
Some of the places to visit include Tugu Monument, Merdeka Square (down town), Ijen Boulevard (palm tree along side), Ceramic Industry in Dinoyo area, Agrotourism (tea, orange, aple, strawberry, vegetables in Lawang and Batu highlands), Singosari & Jajaghu Temples (ancient and attractive), Balekambang Beach (is similar to Tanah Lot in Bali), water fall Coban Rondo (very beautiful), Selecta Garden and swimming pool, Hot water spring Songgoriti, Selorejo Lake, and Karangkates Dam.
