Penang is a city which is surrounded by sea. The most prominent landmark in Penang includes Batu Ferringhi Beach, Gurney Drive; the place all the seafood lovers eat by seaside, Penang Hill, Penang Bridge; which connects Penang Island and the whole Malaysia; and Kek Lok Si Temple.
Penang is one of Malaysia's main tourist draws. Its beaches are nice, though a little lacklustre when compared to those in some other Malaysian states, but this is more than compensated for by the island's rich multicultural history which is full of Chinese, Malay, Indian, and European influences. Penang is also well known for being the "food paradise" of Malaysia if not the whole of Asia.
